Volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho

Every other month, we have an amazing opportunity to give back to our community by volunteering to bake treats at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho. We had a wonderful time baking goodies with the agents and office staff who volunteered this time around.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho’s purpose is to help families when a child faces a medical crisis. During these times, the child who is going through this difficult time needs their family the most. At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho, they are helping families face the burden of their children’s illness together. They have enough worries attending to the complicated medical needs of their child, maintaining their jobs, caring for other children or family members and keeping up with medical and out-of-pocket expenses – at RMHC of Idaho, they care for the family so they can focus on their sick child.

A new Ronald McDonald House of Idaho is projected to open January 2020. The expanded House will be 40,000 square feet dedicated to helping more than three times the number of families we currently serve!!

The renderings for the new home are absolutely beautiful and will be located on Warm Springs Avenue. Still only steps from St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital and a short drive to Saint Alphonsus. Donations are still appreciated to bring this heart filled project to life. This will be another amazing support system for the families in our community who are going through a difficult time.
